From its beginning, La Fermière passes on its traditional savoir-faire: combining the finest ingredients to create delicious, indulgent, and all-natural premium yogurt and desserts. Since 2017, we developed our presence in the American market in both retail and foodservice. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales and foster strategic partnerships in southern Florida.

JOB DESCRIPTION

La Fermière is looking for an Area Sales Manager in Florid to help grow the market on both food service (working with management companies, distributors, chefs…) and retail sectors (in close contact with buyer, sales rep..)

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote La Fermière products and expand its customer base.This position requires a strong and motivated individual who will spend 80% of the time in the field to continue and grow the brand presence.

Working closely with the East Coast Sales Manager, you will help identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth based on the strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of the food industry and retail in the US market, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the East Coast Sales Manager to define sales objectives, develop strategic plans, for both retail and food service sectors(hotel, corporate cafeteria, coffee stores, country clubs, etc.).

  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retailers, foodservice customers to expand La Fermière’ s market presence.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and industry partners to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales data, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports/presentations and updates to the management team, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.

  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent La Fermière at industry trade shows, events (demos), and networking opportunities to generate leads, increase brand visibility, and foster business partnerships.

  • Other Development: Help on the development in other areas such as PNW and other potential areas with potential field trips.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or more in Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus

  • Proven experience in business sales development, preferably within the food or beverage industry is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies accordingly

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to travel nationwide in the US

  • Driving license mandatory

  • Available for at least 12 months. Ideally between 12 to 18 months.
