Simple Rope DIY Using Your Empty Yogurt Pots

DIY

Your empty La Fermière pots are great to use for storage; whether it be to place as a decorative piece on your desk or to hold small items in your bathroom. You can use them as they are or transform them! To learn how to recreate the DIY pictured above, follow the simple steps below!

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

To recreate this DIY, you will need:

  • 1 empty La Fermière terracotta pot

  • Thin rope

  • Any color yarn

  • Scissors

  • A hot glue gun

Step 2: Wrap The Pot

Staring with the bottom of the pot, glue one end of the rope to the center and begin to wrap it around. As you wrap, secure the rope with small amounts of hot glue.

Wrap the rope around until the entire pot has been covered. Then, cut the rope and add glue to secure it.

Step 3: Add Yarn

Cut a piece of yarn long enough to go around the top of the pot twice. Tie a knot to hold it in place.

Using the yarn, create 6 small yarn tassels. As shown in the image below, attach them to pot using your hot glue gun.

Use your new transformed pots to store pencils, makeup brushes, or anything you'd like!
